Only in Bucks County: Barns of Bucks

After yesterday's blanket of snow,
I got out and took this photo of one of my favorite properties in the area.
I love this photo... to me, it epitomizes everything Bucks County.

When I first started taking photos here, I focused on the barns and farmland near my house.
I am most attacted to the stone barns of the 1800's and of course the wooden red ones.
Here are some of my favorites!

Love these barns as much as I do?
Here's what you can do to help:

1. Kiss a Farmer.
just kidding!

2. Buy Local Goods and Produce!
You can even take a pledge to spend $20 a week at a local farm
or farmer's market at Good For 20

3. Check out one of ny favorite Bucks County Non Profits,

Only in Bucks: Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving came and went without me really thinking through what I'm grateful for.
I also feel really bad that I haven't been blogging much lately, and I hate that my recent photos are mainly iPhoneography.
I never thought it would come to this!  Not just for my "audience" but for me.
There is definitely something cathartic about getting my thoughts together and my images out into cyberspace. Writing comes easy for me, and I love going on a photo shoot. It just takes me so long to sort through my images and lay out my blog... that I wind up not posting anything at all :(

The solution: Shorter posts with less photos. I'll start right now:
I am thankful for all the beautiful land and open space in Bucks County!
