The sun was going down, and there were actually ice chucks floating by in the Delaware River when I met Joana, her husband, and her twin sister Janet for their Maternity shoot. Joana is expecting her first baby, a boy named Dominic, on March 5th. Janet had booked this photo shoot with me back in October when she knew her sister would be in town for the Christmas holiday.
Since the photos had to be taken late in the day we met right by the Delaware River and took advantage of the golden hour. We kept taking breaks, but we had a lot of fun! The greatest compliment you could give me after browsing through these photos would be that they don't look like they were taken on such a frigid day, because my fingers were about ready to freeze off!

Thank you Grundy Library for giving us a place where we could run in and warm up on a 20 degree December afternoon!
"You are loved, Dominic."
