Only in Bucks County: Yardley's Garden Of Reflection

Whether you live in Bucks County or not, I recommend Yardley's Garden of Reflection 9-11 Memorial as a calming and serene place for you to visit.

The Memorial Park was built to honor and commemorate the Pennsylvania and Bucks County residents who lost their lives on 9/11.
There are many thoughtful tributes to the victims of this tragic event, but what I find the most peaceful about visiting the Garden of  Reflection is the reflecting pool with its twin fountains, which serve as a metaphor for the soaring spirit of the victims.

The photos below were taken at a candlelight ceremony I attended on the eve of September 11, 2015:

"The Garden pathway crosses concentric undulating landforms representing the waves of change inflicted upon us. It then leads to the journey’s central destination - the Heart of the memorial - a reflecting pool encircled by a railing with the seventeen names of the Bucks County victims etched in glass. The circular shape of the pool symbolizes everlasting life and the soothing waters reflect peace. The two recessed square voids at the core symbolize the footprints of the towers, while the ascending twin fountains rise as a metaphor for the soaring spirit of the victims."

If you plan on visiting, the address is:
1950 Woodside Road
Yardley PA 19067
